Kidlets Allied Health offers individual and small group consultation for infants and primary school aged children.

All children are entitled to access services with Kidlets Allied Health. Families may be able to claim a rebate through their Private Health Insurer or Medicare. Clients who are participants of the NDIS must be Self or Plan-Managed.
Service agreements and schedules of support will be signed for all therapy blocks offered for all clients.

Initial Assessments are recommended for clients who have not accessed OT before, have not been engaged in services for 6-12 months or whose most recent formal assessment is more than 12months old.
Assessments are up to 1.5 hrs in duration using a combination of standardised and non-standardised assessment tools depending on the client's presenting concerns.
Parent feedback via videoconference or face to face is included as part of the assessment.
A comprehensive report is provided for all assessments.

Clinic appointments are available Monday-Thursday with late evening appointments available subject to clinician availability.
Standard consults are 45mins. At the clinician's discretion, a 30min consult may be recommended or offered.
1:1 appointments are designed to directly address the client's presenting concerns with home programs provided to support intervention provided in the clinic.

Consults at your child's school may be recommended to support their engagement in and access to learning.
Clients may also be supported in break times to address social or play skills.
Collaboration with your child's teacher works towards setting up a successful, encouraging and engaging environment for your child.

Neuro-affiriming Social Skills Programs are offered throughout the year with multiple intakes offered facilitated by our Speech Pathologist.
Kidlets Allied Health offers both “SEA Bridge” and “Social Stencil” in small groups of children of similar ages and skillsets.

Telehealth appointments are available for those who are unable to access the clinic. Kidlets Allied Health currently supports clients in both NSW and QLD through the utilisation of Telehealth services.

Speech Pathology screening assessments are useful for families who are seeking guidance on their child’s language abilities.
Screening appointments are up to 30mins duration with a short report provided. A full assessment may be recommended based on the outcome of the screening assessment.
Schools and preschools may benefit from engaging Kidlets Allied Health to screen their preschoolers or Kindergarten students in the initial transition phase.

Handwriting assessments and intervention aims to understand the break down in skills to assist the individual in improving their handwriting.
Handwriting assessments are scheduled for up to 60mins with an initial intensive program often recommend to support skill development.

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) are all encompassing assessments which determine the individuals functional capacity across all daily activities.
