Big Steps
School Readiness
School Readiness is designed for children commencing Kindergarten and aims to prepare children for a smooth transition to Kindy by targeting the key skills required.
Facilitated by a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist, it will address:
Fine Motor Skills
Gross Motor Skills
Pre-writing and foundations of handwriting
Executive function skills - attention to task, planning, working memory
Self-care and independence skills
Social-emotional skills
Phonological awareness
Pre-literacy skills

Participants: min 3, max 6
Group Fees: dependent on final numbers
Open to all children.
Attendance is expected at all sessions within the block and all sessions incur full fee payment regardless of attendance. Fees can be claimed for reimbursement through Private Health Insurance, Medicare or NDIS (Self or plan-managed clients only).
Next Steps
High School Transition
High School Transition is open to children commencing Year 7. The small group program aims to support children with practical strategies for year 7 with a strong focus on developing executive function skills. The program is co-faciitated by our Occupational Therapist & Speech Pathologist.
