Madeleine Yeaman

Director, Occupational Therapist

Maddy graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She also holds a Master of Disability Studies with Specialisation in Sensory Disability from Macquarie University completed in 2020.

Maddy has worked extensively with children and adolescents through her work as an Occupational Therapist, Learn to Swim Instructor, Sports Coach and Dance Teacher. She is a qualified Coach with Riding for the Disabled (NSW) and coaches in the Riding Programs at “Tall Timbers”.

Maddy is committed to providing evidence-based, goal-directed, family and client centered, fun Occupational Therapy programs. She loves to see her clients achieving their goals and all the steps they take along the way to get there. She values multidisciplinary practice and looks forward to cultivating a true multidisciplinary team as Kidlets grows.

In addition to clinic-based Occupational Therapy, Maddy is passionate about supporting others who work with children with additional needs in community based programs. She works alongside program facilitators to develop accessible programs as well as developing the skills and knowledge base of program facilitators.

In 2024, she presented to the Australian Swims Schools Association conference supporting Swim Teachers and Coaches to better understand the ways to work with neurodivergent and swimmers with additional needs in Learn to Swim Programs both nationally and internationally.

Allicia Joiner

Clinical Lead, Speech Pathology

Allicia is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over 14 years in the industry. She graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology.

Allicia has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults throughout her career as a Speech Pathologist and across a range of settings including community health, hospital and not for profit. Allicia has previously worked as a Senior Speech Pathologist providing clinical guidance, support and advocacy for clinicians working in rural NSW.

Allicia is passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals. She is committed to providing evidence-based, and family and client centred intervention. She has completed certification for Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and the Sounds Write Program. Allicia values multidisciplinary practice and always enjoys collaborating with other clinicians.

In addition to supporting clients’ individual needs, Allicia’s work with paediatrics has also included developing and facilitating education sessions for community groups, playgroups and preschool educators. In 2024, she presented to the Riding for the Disabled (NSW) State Coaches Workshop helping Coaches to understand how communication goals can be supported within sessions. 

Jack is a Connemara Pony who enjoys his role as a Hippotherapy pony with Kidlets Allied Health. As a keen Dressage pony, he brings his cheeky and sweet personality to the team. Jack loves cuddles and his favourite post-work treat is a Super Dooper Ice-block (in almost any flavour!)

Maverick is a young Border Collie x Australian Kelpie who dreams of helping clients achieving their goals through Canine Assisted Occupational Therapy. With a cheeky and fun-loving personality, he is sure to ooze enthusiasm and encourage clients in achieving their goals with a bit of fun along the way!

Maverick loves to play with his brother Goose chasing balls for as long as someone is willing to throw them for him!

Jack

Hippotherapy Pony

Smokey is a Connemara Stallion imported from New Zealand in 2025. He is beginning his journey as a Hippotherapy Pony and is looking forward to becoming an approved Hippotherapy Pony as his training progresses.

With his relaxed and friendly personality, he loves to meet new little people and is excited to help them in reaching their goals.
